FinMin Pierrakakis meets with DFC executives and US Embassy officials on strategic investments in Greece

Minister of Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis met with officials of the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and representatives of the United States Embassy in Athens.

In a post on social media, Pierrakakis stressed that the meeting focused on the progress and planning of strategic investments in sectors such as shipbuilding, logistics, energy and digital infrastructure.

“Thanks to political and economic stability, Greece is emerging as a safe investment destination.  Our goal at the Ministry of Economy and Finance is to remove all bureaucratic and regulatory obstacles and further strengthen the current framework for attracting value-added investments in the Greek economy,” Pierrakakis said.
