Hatzidakis highlights Greece’s dynamic economic comeback to EU ambassadors

Athwns, Greece.– Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis met on Tuesday with the ambassadors of the European Union countries, with whom he discussed the government’s main priorities and the new picture of the Greek economy.

He also underlined that Greece is making a dynamic comeback and is increasingly attractive for investments. In a post on social media, he said: “At the initiative of the Embassy of Poland and Ambassador Wojciech Ponikiewski, I had the opportunity today to present to the ambassadors of all EU member states – as well as Norway and Switzerland – the new image of the Greek economy and the government’s main priorities moving forward.” He noted that Greece has left behind the decade-long crisis.

He also underlined that in the future the government will emphasise the competitiveness of the economy and further increase investments, further digitisation of the state, acceleration of the justice system, the fight to curb tax evasion and support for the economically weaker.
“Greece is gradually becoming a more modern, more European country. With political and fiscal stability,” Hatzidakis said.
