AHEPA Camden 69 Chapter approaches One Million in scholarship assistance

CHERRY HILL, NJ:. – The AHEPA Camden 69 Chapter of Cherry Hill, NJ provided 11 college -bound and college -attending students within the Saint Thomas Greek Orthodox Church community scholarships in its annual presentation on June 15. Combined with its assistance to the AHEPA Journey to Greece program and the AHEPA Mid- Atlantic Hellenic History Tournament, the chapter this year has provided over $30,000 to college -age students yet again this year.
The presentation, given by Chapter President Taso Malapetsas and Scholarship chair Cosmas Diamantis, centered on the chapter’s centennial. With this year’s round of educational monies, the chapter has exceeded $900,000 in scholarship assistance over the years. This year’s recipients were: Sophia Frangos, Katerena Kokolis, Spiros Konidaris, Efthemia Paliatsas, Maria Mantagas, Petro Mantagas, Michael Manolis, Theodore Manolis, Nicholas Pappas, Tula-Maria Pappas and Eleni Tsoplakis.
