Leading American Hellenic, American Jewish groups to lend diaspora support for the critical partnership between Greece, Cyprus and Israel

JOINT THREE-COUNTRY LEADERSHIP MISSION: FEB. 22 – 27
WASHINGTON, DC
What: The sixth International Leadership Mission — a joint delegation of American Hellenic and American Jewish community leaders — that represents the ongoing organizational cooperation between the American Hellenic and American Jewish communities and broad diaspora support for the trilateral partnership between Greece, Cyprus and Israel. The delegation aims to explore the major economic, energy sector, and defense and security developments underway between the three countries with government officials, military officers during visits to military installations, and think-tank organizations.

When/Where: The mission convenes in Jerusalem, Feb. 22 and 23; continues to Athens Feb. 24 and 25; and concludes in Nicosia Feb. 26 and 27.
Why: The strengthening of cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel in a trilateral partnership, together with the United States, continues to develop, helping to foster peace and stability in the eastern Mediterranean and the broader region.
Background
The organizations will build upon five previous, three-country leadership missions in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 which were widely recognized and praised as contributing to intergroup and international cooperation and friendship.
