Η αστυνομία στο Μόναχο εκκένωσε δύο σταθμούς τραίνων την Πέμπτη βράδι, μετά από “πολύ συγκεκριμένες πληροφορίες” από τις μυστικές υπηρεσίες φιλικής χώρας ότι το Ισλαμικό Κράτος σχεδίαζε επιθέσεις στη νότια αυτή πόλη της Γερμανίας την παραμονή του Νέου Έτους, είπε ο υπουργός Εσωτερικών της Βαυαρίας Γιοακίμ Χέρμαν σε συνέντευξη τύπου σήμερα.
Αργά χθες, η αστυνομία είχε αναρτήσει μήνυμα στον κοινωνικό ιστότοπο Twitter, που έλεγε, “Πραγματική ένδειξη ότι στο Μόναχο σχεδιάζεται τρομοκρατική επίθεση. Παρακαλούμε αποφύγετε ανοιχτές συγκεντρώσεις καθώς και τον κεντρικό σταθμό τραίνων, και τον σταθμό τραίνων Pasinger”, έλεγε η ανάρτηση στα γερμανικά, προσθέτοντας, “Ο σταθμός Pasinger και οι κεντρικοί σταθμοί έχουν εκκενωθεί. Τα τραίνα δεν λειτουργούν. Παρακαλούμε ακολουθείστε τις υποδείξεις της αστυνομίας”.
Σε επόμενο μήνυμα είχε προτρέψει τους πολίτες να προσέχουν: “Σημειώνουμε ξανά ξεκάθαρα ότι παίρνουμε την απειλή πολύ σοβαρά. Παρακαλούμε παραμείνετε σε επιφυλακή”.
Ο αρχηγός της αστυνομίας του Μονάχου είπε σήμερα ότι η τρομοκρατική οργάνωση είχε σκοπό να χρησιμοποιήσει βομβιστές αυτοκτονίας στην επίθεσή της.

Officials said they got hints of a possible bomb attack, specifically in the main Munich train station and the Pasinger station, a police spokeswoman told ABC News.

Police in Munich, Germany, evacuated two train stations Thursday night — including the city’s main station — because of a terrorist threat, police told NBC News.

“Due to serious evidence, the Police in Munich is dealing with an active threat of a terror attack in the Munich area,” police said in a posting on Facebook asking people to avoid crowds. “Due to existing information which we take highly seriously, there is an attack planned tonight.

No details of the threat were provided, but police told NBC News separately that the main Munich Hauptbahnhof and Pasing train stations were evacuated.

High-profile attacks claimed by ISIS and other groups this have cast a shadow over New Year’s Eve gatherings around the world. A planned fireworks display in Brussels, Belgium, was canceled Wednesday night over fears of an attack.
