Sifnos the most photogenic destination in the world

One of Greece’s islands has once again topped a travellers’ list, this time the top ten of the most photogenic destinations in the world, as named by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler, the largest travel magazine worldwide .

Sifnos, in the Cyclades, surrounded by crystal clear Aegean Sea waters is the readers’ favourite with the Church of the Seven Martyrs, the iconic Castle and idyllic beaches getting the most votes.

The island of Apollo, is covered in tiny churches like the Chrisopigi Monastery with its main attractions being the Sifnos Trails, the blue-green waters of Vroulidia Beach, the sandy beaches of Platis Gialos and Vathi.

As highlighted by Conde Nast Traveler Spain, Sifnos offers the best balance between being close to nature and locations off the beaten track as well as popular nightlife spots, luxury and highly-rated restaurants.

Second was Morocco followed by Valencia, Portugal and its lakes, France, the Canary islands, Mexico, London and the verdant regions of Italy.
