Several discussions and negotiations have been taking place with Greek companies wanting to trade with Australia through contacts made at last year’s Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) Trade Mission. This month, HACCI will be following up with companies and getting updates on progress. At the end of January, HACCI’s Trade Director George Iliopoulos has been invited to visit the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair (TIF) in Greece. The previous trade visit to Australia from Greece was one of the most important in recent years, boasting over 150 B2B meetings as well as a full program of presentations and events both in Melbourne and Sydney. A spokesperson from HACCI added that they are already in discussions with TIF for follow up trade visits both here and in Greece.
