Celebration of the Feast of Saint Photios

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan SAVAS of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5 and 6, we will be celebrating the feastday of our Metropolis Patron St. Photios the Great, Patriarch of Constantinople and Defender of the Christian Faith. The celebration will take place at the chapel dedicated to his memory at our Metropolis offices in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

The celebration of Great Vespers will begin at 6:00pm on February 5, to be followed by light refreshments.

The Orthros and Divine Liturgy will begin at 9:00am on February 6. Following the services there will be coffee and refreshments for those who have attended, while the clergy will have their annual St. Photios Day Syndesmos meeting.
