Η Ελλάδα σήμερα: Γλώσσα, Πολιτισμός και Μέσα Μαζικής Επικοινωνίας

Το Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων και η Ένωση Ευρωπαίων Δημοσιογράφων ανακοινώνουν τη διοργάνωση Θερινού Πανεπιστημίου με τίτλο «Η Ελλάδα σήμερα: Γλώσσα, Πολιτισμός και Μέσα Μαζικής Επικοινωνίας». Η θερινή ακαδημαϊκή δράση θα πραγματοποιηθεί το καλοκαίρι του 2015 στο νησί της Άνδρου και συγκεκριμένα από 5 έως και 12 Ιουλίου και από 12 έως 19 Ιουλίου. Το έργο υπάγεται στην Επιτροπή Ερευνών του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων.

Το πρόγραμμα προσφέρεται σε προπτυχιακούς φοιτητές, αλλά και απόφοιτους, μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές, διδάκτορες, ερευνητές, εκπαιδευτικούς και επαγγελματίες. Περιλαμβάνει ένα αγγλόφωνο και ένα ελληνόφωνο τμήμα και σε αυτά θα διδάξουν διακεκριμένοι Καθηγητές Πανεπιστημίου από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό και δημοσιογράφοι/πανεπιστημιακοί από τον ευρωπαϊκό χώρο. Προβλέπονται καθημερινές τετράωρες διαλέξεις και εργαστήρια (workshops). Επίσης, το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει συμμετοχή σε εκπαιδευτικές εκδρομές και επισκέψεις σε χώρους πολιτισμού. Αξίζει να αναφερθεί ότι στο επίπεδο των guest lectures του προγράμματος συμμετέχει ευγενώς το Κέντρο Ελληνικών Σπουδών του

Πανεπιστημίου Harvard στην Ελλάδα με τον κ. Charles Stocking, Επίκουρο Καθηγητή στο Τμήμα Κλασσικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Western Ontario και Research Fellow του Harvard University στην Ουάσινγκτον.

Το θερινό σχολείο θα καλύψει τις ακόλουθες θεματικές:

* Η Ελληνική Γλώσσα

* Ο Ελληνικός Πολιτισμός

* Ελληνικά Μέσα Μαζικής Επικοινωνίας και Πολιτική

* Ελληνική Ιστορία

* Ελληνική Ποίηση και Φιλοσοφία

 Τhe University of Ioannina and the Association of European Journalists are pleased to announce the organization of a Summer University project, titled “Greece today: Language, Culture and Media”. The academic action will take place in the summer of 2015 on the island of Andros and, specifically, from July 5th to July 12th, and July 12th to July 19th. The project falls under the aegis of the Research Committee of the University of Ioannina.

The aforementioned program is available to undergraduate students, as well as graduates, post-graduate students, PhD holders, researchers, educators and professionals. It includes an English-speaking and a Greek-speaking class. The attendees of the Summer University will be taught by distinguished University Professors from Greece and other countries, as well as journalists/academics from all over Europe. Daily four-hour lectures and workshops are also provided. Moreover, the program includes participation in excursions and visits to cultural sites. It is worth mentioning that at the level of guest lectures of the program, the Center for Hellenic Studies of Harvard University in Greece kindly participates, with Ass. Professor Charles Stocking from Western University of Ontario (Department of Classical Studies), Research Fellow of the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University in Washington.

The summer school will cover the following topics:

Regarding Summer University 2015 a press conference will be held on Monday, December 15th, at 12.00, in the offices of the European Parliament in Athens (8 Amalias Street, Syntagma).

Participation Fees:

For Greek educational institutions students, the fees are the following:

-285 Euros, for registrations until March 15th, 2015

-350 Euros, for registrations until April 30th, 2015

For foreign educational institutions students, the fees are the following:

-350 Euros, for registrations until March 15th, 2015

-425 Euros, for registrations until April 30th, 2015

The participation fees for graduates and professionals is 350 Euros, for registrations until March 15th, 2015, and 425 Euros, for registrations until April 30th, 2015.
