AHEPA Remembers Veterans Day 2015

AHEPA Supreme President John W. Galanis extends his thanks and appreciation to all of our men and women who have served our country and to all our chapters who support our veterans issues.

Since 1922 the Order of AHEPA has worked to make Americans better citizens.  Throughout our 93 year history AHEPA has supported the servicemen and women in our Armed Forces.

We pause for a moment to remember all those who sacrificed for us to live in a country which advocates justice and freedom for the world. Thank you Veterans for your sacrifice and duty to our country. We are humbled by your service.

“It is the Veteran”

It is the Veteran, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Veteran, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Veteran, who salutes the Flag,
It is the Veteran, who serves under the Flag,
To be buried by the flag,
So the protester can burn the flag.
