The Scholarship Application Deadline is Almost Here!

 
Chicago, IL – The application deadline for our 2015/16 scholarship awards is fast approaching. February 1, 2016 is the last day to submit scholarship applications to the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation.
The Foundation annually awards $250,000 in scholarships to 40 exceptional students of Greek descent. Scholarships of $10,000 each are awarded to students based on financial need and academic merit. Awards of $2,500 each are granted to students solely on the basis of academic merit. This year, two of the twenty available $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduates pursuing majors in music or the arts.

Students of Hellenic descent who are currently attending a four-year college or university in the U.S., and who possess a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, are encouraged to apply for  the scholarship awards. Please visit our website and download the application. Be sure to apply by February 1!
As the largest national public foundation of its kind, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation grants substantial monetary awards to academically successful and financially deserving college students from around the United States.
With the Foundation’s assistance, our scholarship recipients have attended such elite schools as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern, UC – Berkeley, MIT, Georgia Tech, The University of Chicago, and Johns Hopkins, among many other prestigious universities. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded $2.3 million in scholarships to 322 students.
The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation annually presents its scholarships at its Awards Ceremony & Gala. The event will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. Please join us for this exciting evening with our scholarship recipients. This year’s ceremony will be particularly special as it will be held in honor of our late Founder, Chris P. Tomaras.
