Messinians all over the world for the liberation of Kalamata

Dear Fellow Messinians:

As you all well know, Messinians all over the world will be celebrating the 193rd anniversary of the liberation of Kalamata from the Turkish occupation, which occurred on March 23, 1821.

On this historic day, the pioneers of the Greek Revolution overcame the burden of slavery and freed the historic City of Kalamata through their heroic deeds and sacrifices.

As is our annual tradition, Neo Kyma Messinias will host a dinner reception and dance on Sunday March 23rd to pay tribute to this historic day. The dinner dance will be held at the Chateau Ritz Banquets located at 9100 Milwaukee in Niles.

The Neo Kyma Messinias will be honoring fellow Messinian and past president of the Pan-Messinian Federation of USA & Canada, Takis Economopoulos for his longtime cultural and social contributions to Messinians of the U.S. and Canada.

The evening promises a superb dinner accompanied by wine, open bar and Greek and American music by D.J. Vagos.

Ticket price: $65 for adults and $30 for Children (12 & under).
