The entire AHEPA family is mourning the passing of our brother, our friend, our ne and only Mr. E!  Quick with a joke, or to offer advice, he was an inspiration for a generation of AHEPAns.  We will miss his humor, his smile and his wisdom. We will wait to see him in heaven making all of our departed brothers laughing at his jokes.

“We have all heard the saying “The future of tomorrow is the youth of today.”  For the last 50 years Chris Economides

(Mr. E.) lived by those words as he nurtured and helped to develop some of the great leaders of our beloved AHEPA.  His tough love approach and blunt honesty were essential in preparing our young men for the true challenges of life.  His selflessness and dedication truly exemplified the values of this organization and his commitment was unwavering.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, May his Memory be eternal! It has been requested that in lieu of sending flowers donations be made in his honor to AHEPA for the Rebuilding of St Nicholas Ground Zero. Please make your checks payable to the AHEPA Charitable Foundation and send them to AHEPA headquarters.”
